Happy Founder’s Day, Theta Phi Alpha!

JennaBenna & Co wishes the lovely women of Theta Phi Alpha a very very Happy Founder’s Day! We hope your day is filled with sisterhood, tradition, & memories to carry you through the years. On this day in 1912, ten young women came together at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan to form the Theta Phi Alpha organization. The founders of Theta Phi Alpha included: Dorothy Phalan, Katrina Ward, Mildred Connely, Selma Gilday, Otilia O’Hara, Amelia McSweeney, Camila Sutherland, Helen Quinlan, May C. Ryan, and Eva Bauer Everson. Here we are 106 years later with over 55 chapters nationwide! It is amazing to see how an organization can grow through the years, and we have no doubt that the founder’s would all be in awe if they could see how their efforts have prevailed over the years!

Theta Phi Alpha has many symbols to signify their sisterhood. Their official colors are silver, gold, & Blue. The pearl & sapphire have been named their official jewels while the white rose is their official flower. In 1987, the penguin was established as their official mascot as well, which is such a cute mascot we must add!

To honor your Founder’s today, JennaBenna & Co is offering our exclusive Theta Phi Alpha Founder’s Day Tee! This adorable combo has our exclusive JennaBenna & Co Sorority Theta Phi Alpha Crest Fabric + Metallic Gold Twill and comes on a Classic Fit Short Sleeve Tee in Sapphire.  This shirt is normally over $35 shipped, but for one week only you can get this keepsake letter shirt for only $25 shipped with coupon code: “THETAPHI” at checkout. What a great deal!!!

We hope your day is filled with sisterhood & tradition, Theta Phi Alpha!
