Alpha Phi Founders Day!

Happy Founder’s Day, Alpha Phi! We hope you all have the greatest of days! For those of you that don’t know much about Alpha Phi, we will be dedicating today’s blog post to this awesome chapter so you can learn more about them!

Alpha Phi was founded at Syracuse University in 1872. Their mission statement is “Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting on another in lifelong achievement.” The Alpha Phi colors are Bordeaux (a maroon-ish color) and silver, and their flowers are Lily of the Valley and Forget-Me-Not. Alpha Phi’s mascot is Phi Bear, and their philanthropy is the Alpha Phi Foundation, in support of Women’s Heart Health. There are 170 Alpha Phi chapters, and over 200,000 members. The Alpha Phi values are: sisterhood, scholarship, service, character development loyalty and leadership.
